Reviews and Ratings <br />
The stay was quite disappointing. While the location near Algonquin Park is fantastic, offering great access to the outdoors, the state of the accommodation left much to be desired. The rooms, though spacious, were outdated and had a musty smell. The amenities advertised, like canoes, were not available as expected, and overall cleanliness was lacking. The dining options were very limited, and the service was not up to standard. It certainly didn't feel like the getaway we had hoped for.
Our stay at Algonquin Lakeside Inn Motel was a mixed bag. While the location next to the west gate of Algonquin Park is certainly convenient for outdoor enthusiasts, we found the motel itself to be quite rundown. The room we stayed in was somewhat newly renovated, but the lack of amenities and the overall condition of the property left us disappointed.
The accommodation was decent for a last-minute stay, clean enough but overall there were many issues. While the location is perfect for accessing snowmobile trails and the surrounding scenery is stunning with fall colors, the property itself has seen better days. The room was small and felt tired, and the amenities were lacking. However, they were accommodating when needed, which was appreciated.
The hotel provided a decent stay overall, with a friendly owner who was willing to accommodate our late arrival and even upgraded our room. However, I found the wifi connection unreliable during our visit, and I think the price is higher than what you might expect for the amenities offered. Despite these cons, it had a lovely view and a comfortable atmosphere that made for a pleasant experience.
My stay here was a mixed bag. On one hand, the location is beautiful, right by the lake, and the room had some nice upgrades like a jacuzzi tub. However, the overall state of the property was concerning with maintenance issues and promises not kept by management. The value for money just isn’t there, especially considering the state of the facilities and lack of dining options.
